Paramedic Functional Assessor Opportunity

Maximus is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join their team in a challenging yet rewarding role as a PIP Functional Assessor. This position offers a competitive salary of £37,800, along with the opportunity to work flexibly and achieve a better work-life balance. As a PIP Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
The role involves conducting telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports that help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits. You will develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision. With Maximus, you can expect ongoing CPD, clinical development, and reimbursed validation fees.
Requirements for this position include valid HCPC registration, at least one year of post-registration experience gained within or outside an NHS ambulance trust, and the right to work in the UK.
