About the Role:
- This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to provide hands-on clinical care in the outpatient department, including face-to-face and telephone consultations.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy services with a focus on women's health and cancer rehabilitation.
- You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and manage complex cases.
- Your duties will include assessing, treating, and supporting patients with a range of MSK conditions, ensuring the highest standard of care.
- You will develop and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans for patients in line with clinical guidelines.
- You will contribute to the development of patient care pathways and rehabilitation programs for women's health and cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert clinical advice and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in MSK physiotherapy, particularly in women's health.
- Demonstrable experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions, ideally at a Band 6 level.
- NHS experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage patient relationships effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Experience in both face-to-face patient care and telephone consultations.
