About the Role:

  • This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to provide hands-on clinical care in the outpatient department, including face-to-face and telephone consultations.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialist musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy services with a focus on women's health and cancer rehabilitation.
  • You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and manage complex cases.
  • Your duties will include assessing, treating, and supporting patients with a range of MSK conditions, ensuring the highest standard of care.
  • You will develop and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans for patients in line with clinical guidelines.
  • You will contribute to the development of patient care pathways and rehabilitation programs for women's health and cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert clinical advice and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in MSK physiotherapy, particularly in women's health.
  • Demonstrable experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions, ideally at a Band 6 level.
  • NHS experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage patient relationships effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Experience in both face-to-face patient care and telephone consultations.
