About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor to join our Elderly Medicine team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients, working closely with our consultants and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage in-patients on the elderly medicine wards, ensuring effective care and treatment.
  • Teach and mentor junior doctors and medical staff, promoting knowledge and skills development.
  • Undertake administrative responsibilities, including leading departmental teaching and participating in governance meetings.
  • Contribute to new service developments, demonstrating a commitment to efficient team working.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Eligibility for full GMC registration at time of appointment.
  • Experience in UK Geriatric Medicine.
  • Evidence of achievement of Foundation competencies in line with GMC standards.
