Job Summary

The Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialty Doctor to join our General Surgery team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent surgical services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in the provision of general surgical services to the Hospital, working on a rotation within Breast Surgery, General Surgery, and Colorectal Surgery.
  • Deputise for absent colleagues, perform additional duties in emergencies, and be available for irregular commitments outside normal duties to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • See all vascular emergency referrals from the wards or A&E and liaise with the Vascular Network consultant on call for advice and transfer as necessary.
  • Contribute to the delivery of excellent surgical services, working clinically in Theatre, Endoscopy, and Outpatients, depending on experience and rota availability.
