Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Lead to join our client's Assembly & Manufacturing team on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a full-time role with the potential for a permanent position in the future.

Key Job Details:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7am to 4:30pm, and Friday 7am to 12:15pm (40 hours)
  • Weekly pay
  • Opportunity for a permanent role
Responsibilities:
  • Organise, motivate, and support the Assembly team to meet daily production schedules and works orders
  • Train, coach, and support the Assembly team to produce high-quality products that meet quality standards
  • Identify and report potential equipment, component, or tool shortages to prevent assembly line stoppages
  • Assist in implementing lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, productivity, and reduce waste
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within an assembly and/or manufacturing environment
  • Detailed knowledge of core mechanical and electrical assembly principles
  • Previous training in lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma is desirable
  • Able to commute independently or live in Hixon due to the location of the work
