About the Role

AWE plc is currently recruiting for an experienced Product Manager to join our Enterprise Applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Product Backlog, creating and maintaining User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, and maintaining Product Roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

The Product Manager will be required to provide support to internal bespoke software application development. This role is essential to the Enterprise Applications group to be successful. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Product Backlog
  • Creating and maintaining User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Maintaining Product Roadmaps
  • Implementing application and system changes in line with IS processes, procedures, and policies, to budget, time, and scope.
  • Communicating with key business stakeholders to ensure systems meet expectations
  • System specialist/SME/Super user for applications relating to specialism
  • Escalating incidents, problems, issues, and risks accordingly
  • Task managing key resources supporting the system

Requirements

The successful Product Manager will have:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in Product Management
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Azure DevOps

Desirable Skills

The ideal candidate will also have experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle, Agile Methodologies, and principles, as well as User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) and Application Development Software. ITIL Qualification would also be an advantage.
