We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a highly regarded, Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" primary school in Redbridge. The successful candidate will work closely with children in Key Stages 1 and 2 who have SEMH needs, providing targeted support, building positive relationships, and helping them to develop social skills, self-confidence, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities


  1. Support students with SEMH needs in both Key Stages 1 and 2.
  2. Assist teachers in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
  3. Build and maintain positive relationships with students, encouraging their personal and social development.
  4. Implement individualised support and behaviour management strategies.
  5. Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to their learning plans.
