National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is a world-leading nuclear research laboratory with a unique opportunity for a Senior Criticality Specialist to support the delivery of criticality safety assessments within NNL and its customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the technical delivery of projects under the direction of the Criticality Technical Lead, ensuring timely completion, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a network of customers and stakeholders, providing expert guidance on criticality safety and assessment.
  • Contribute to IR&D projects, advancing the knowledge and expertise in criticality safety assessment.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in criticality safety, safety cases, or related technical disciplines, along with a strong track record of delivering high-quality results to tight deadlines. A basic level of knowledge in criticality safety assessment and the ability to obtain SC-level security clearance are also essential requirements.

In return for your expertise, you can expect a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
