Senior Aerospace Composite Repair Specialist

Located in Prestwick, we are working with an MRO company looking to recruit a new Composite Repair Engineer.
This leading international line and base maintenance provider operates a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. With a focus on adaptability, they offer services including component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors, and AOG support.

This permanent position is available due to business growth.
A 5/5/4 shift pattern applies, with working hours from 07:00 to 19:00.

The primary purpose of this role is to conduct routine and AOG composite repair of parts and assemblies under EASA Part 145 approval, supporting the MRO.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Performing composite repairs to aircraft and components within the facilities
- Liaising with CTS Planning to develop repair techniques and methods from OEM tech data
- Ensuring all work is completed according to procedures, regulations, and health & safety requirements
- Ensuring all documentation is correctly completed and all planned tasks are carried out accurately and in order
To be successful in this role, the Composite Repair Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Experience in composite work inside an aerospace environment
- Experience in both metal bonding and wet/prepreg layup
- Right to work in the UK
