Fashion Buying Coordinator

Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior Merchandising Professional to join our buying team at Matalan. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing commercial ranges within established frameworks, working closely with junior buyers to establish initial stock intake plans and stock covers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare seasonal buying plans and budgets through thorough analysis of the range's historical data.
- Set and agree core KPIs with junior buyers in terms of sales, stock intake phasing, margin, stock turn, markdown, and terminal stock.
- Coaching and development of trainees and assistants within the team.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have successfully held an Assistant Merchandiser role, preferably within fashion retail.
- Prior experience in range planning, merchandising, or a related field is essential.
