Technical Sales Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between technical products and customer needs, using their engineering expertise to support sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with customers to identify their technical needs and provide solutions through detailed product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations.
- Deliver technical support throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sales consultations, project scoping, and post-sales troubleshooting.
- Assist in creating detailed proposals, quotes, and bids by evaluating customer requirements and tailoring solutions that meet their technical and budgetary needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services, including their technical specifications, capabilities, and applications in various industries.
- Prepare and deliver product documentation, manuals, and training materials for clients and sales teams.
- Provide technical guidance to customers post-purchase, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and offering additional support to maximise customer satisfaction.
- Experience in technical sales or engineering role in Manufacturing/Production.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts, including manufacturing processes, product design, and engineering principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in sales, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess customer needs and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and marketing.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, CAD, or other technical sales and design tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
