Senior Physics Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Physicist to join our team in Cambridge, working on cutting-edge technologies that enhance the UK's defence against external threats. As a Defence Sector Physicist, you will be involved in a variety of physics projects, including thermal, optics, electromagnetics, acoustics, fluidics, and chemical technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and development in physics projects, including complex technologies such as thermal, optics, and electromagnetics.
- Collaborate with other teams and external parties to achieve project goals.
- Work on projects involving Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with a keen interest in these areas welcomed.
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and solutions for the Defence sector.
- PhD in Physics or a related field, or equivalent experience in the Defence sector.
- Experience in complex projects, including thermal, optics, electromagnetics, acoustics, fluidics, and chemical technologies.
- Ability to obtain security clearance or already hold security clearance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
