About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the Eastern Green Link 2 project, a 525kV, 2GW high voltage direct current (HVDC) subsea transmission cable from Peterhead in Scotland to Drax in England. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering successful project outcomes, maintaining high standards of professionalism, and providing operational, strategic, and contractual direction for the project team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the project team, ensuring high levels of commitment, morale, and motivation at all levels.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and contractors, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring financial management and reporting are accurate and reliable.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promote a culture of sustainability and responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, promoting repeat business and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Agent within Civil Engineering contracting.
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Detailed working knowledge of the civil construction environment and forms of contract used.
