Job Title: Disrepair Surveyor

Join Adecco as a Disrepair Surveyor and take on a challenging role in our busy and high-profile Disrepair Team.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Disrepair Surveyor to join our team, responsible for surveying properties, specifying disrepair works, and raising orders to contractors. As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will project manage disrepair works from commencement to completion, undertaking pre-inspections, works in progress inspections, and post-inspections. You will also manage contractors and monitor their performance, ensuring Health & Safety compliance and liaising with and supporting tenants throughout disrepair works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surveying properties and specifying disrepair works
  • Raising orders to contractors and project managing disrepair works
  • Undertaking pre-inspections, works in progress inspections, and post-inspections
  • Managing contractors and monitoring their performance
  • Monitoring Health & Safety compliance
  • Liaising with and supporting tenants throughout disrepair works
  • Coordinating and overseeing temporary decants
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, such as Legal and Tenancy teams
Requirements

We are looking for a Disrepair Surveyor with:

Disrepair experience preferred, but not required - training will be providedProven track record of property maintenance experienceStrong technical knowledgeMajor repairs project management experience preferredExperience of working in Social Housing sector preferredGood understanding of Health and Safety legislation in relation to property maintenanceExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficient in Outlook, however, Teams, Excel, SharePoint and systems training will be providedStrong commercial awarenessAbout Us
