About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist/Nurse to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Physiotherapist/Senior Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pulmonary rehabilitation classes in a range of community venues, working closely with patients to develop personalized care plans.
  • Conduct home visits to assess and review patients, using your skills in engagement and motivational techniques to support them in overcoming barriers to pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and programs to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Registered Physiotherapist with HCPC or Registered Nurse with NMC Adult registration.
  • Proven experience in respiratory care, with a strong understanding of pulmonary rehabilitation principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or experience in respiratory care, such as COPD postgraduate module, are desirable.
