Job Title: Mixed Tenure Officer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mixed Tenure Officer to join our Housing Investment team at Renfrewshire Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our capital investment and repair programmes to ensure our housing stock meets all statutory and regulatory standards.

About the Role

As a Mixed Tenure Officer, you will be responsible for liaising and consulting with tenants and owners involved in Council investment programmes. You will supervise staff and assist with the marketing and promotion of Council capital investment programmes. Additionally, you will help to coordinate customer enquiries and complaints relating to Council work programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise and consult with tenants and owners involved in Council investment programmes
  • Supervise staff and assist with marketing and promotion of Council capital investment programmes
  • Coordinate customer enquiries and complaints relating to Council work programmes
  • Work with a range of internal and external organisations to deliver Council investment programmes
  • Ensure compliance with current housing legislation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant experience in liaising with residents involved in public sector investment programmes. You will also need to have effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, and the ability to organise your own workload and coordinate team workloads. Experience of managing staff is desirable.

As a Mixed Tenure Officer, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check being determined by the duties of the post.
