We are seeking an Industrial Equipment Repair Engineer to join our team at Finning International. As a key member of our workshop, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement solutions for complex equipment problems, using your knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Lead and coordinate repair efforts, collaborating with colleagues to achieve timely completion of projects and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to less experienced team members, promoting continuous learning and skill development.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electronics).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment repair, preferably in a large-scale industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar products and services is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
