**Job Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Specialist to join our client, a renowned global engineering company. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of people, assets, and the environment through the implementation of robust process safety management systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and facilitate Process Hazard Reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform consequence modeling for facility siting, atmospheric vents, and flares, including dispersion analysis, thermal radiation studies, and pool fire scenarios analysis.
- Develop and implement occupied building siting reports, SIL assessments, and hazardous area electrical classification schedules.
- Prepare fire protection deliverables, including fire hazard analysis, firewater demand basis, fireproofing schedule, and fire and gas detector location plans.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in process safety management, hazard identification techniques, quantitative risk analysis, facility siting, and regional regulatory codes and standards.
- Leadership experience in facilitating hazard review and LOPA studies.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
