At Select Appointments, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Hospitality Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food, drinks, and wines are served to customers at a prestigious Cambridge College.

Job Summary

This is a challenging position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You will work closely with the Manciple to manage Food & Beverage Assistants and casual waiting staff, contributing to student life and memorable events such as weddings, conferences, and alumni gatherings.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure all food, drinks, and wines are served to the highest standard, maintaining high performance and efficiency in the Food and Beverage service.
  • Deputise for the Manciple and assist with 'on-the-job' training, contributing to staff growth and development.
  • Manage Food & Beverage Assistants and casual waiting staff, fostering a positive working environment and promoting teamwork.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of [£28,000 - £32,000] per annum, depending on experience.
  • A flexible working arrangement with basic 80 hours worked over 2 weeks, with the potential for additional hours during busy periods.
  • A defined contribution pension scheme.
  • A meal on duty if available (daily allowance).
  • 25 days plus bank holidays annual entitlement.
