Computed Tomography Imaging Professional

We are looking for a detail-oriented Computed Tomography Imaging Professional to join our part-time day shift team at Karmanos Cancer Institute. This role involves operating and maintaining imaging department equipment, preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, and obtaining patient history.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, based on your level of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will conduct quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and yourself.
- You will properly identify, prepare, and/or administer medications that are within your scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
- You will work closely with patients to ensure their needs are met and they feel comfortable throughout the diagnostic process.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification as a CT Technologist is highly preferred.
- You must graduate from an accredited radiology technology program.
- Certification in general radiologic technology by the ARRT is required.
- You must hold current BLS certification.
