SEN Tutor Position

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled SEN Tutor to provide face-to-face support to children with Special Education Needs in South London and surrounding areas.
This SEN Tutor role involves working with children who have ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, or PMLD, and providing individualized support to help them achieve their desired learning outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEND students and a valid enhanced child workforce DBS. They will be self-employed and work on a flexible schedule, with referrals from Remedy's dedicated team.
The SEN Tutor will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, tracking student progress, and providing monthly reports. They will also have the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities and learn about visuals to communicate with students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing face-to-face support to children with Special Education Needs
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Tracking student progress and providing monthly reports
- Managing challenging behavior
- Working with children who have ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, or PMLD
