As a key member of the Partner Management team at Computacenter (UK) Ltd, you will be responsible for leading Partner Managers within the networking category. Your primary objective will be to develop and coach the team, driving the overall growth strategy for all our networking vendors. This team's main goal is to ensure we have strong, robust relationships with our partners and that Computacenter is the number one choice when collaborating, promoting all our partners' products and services into our sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders both within Computacenter and externally to understand requirements and deliver commercial solutions and capabilities to meet these needs.
  • Develop and own commercial programmes with vendors, building strategies to maximize the commercial benefit for Computacenter from these programmes and ensuring Computacenter compliance with vendor programs.
  • Facilitate the creation of solutions between Sales and Vendors, shaping and negotiating large, complex opportunities.
  • Manage and drive the performance of your team and our partners to deliver Computacenter objectives.
  • As a Category Manager, you will have responsibility for the networking lines of business and Vendor Partners within the Partner Management organisation, personnel responsibility for the Partner Managers, and management of relevant commercial partner relationships with manufacturers and distributors with the aim of achieving a commercial competitive advantage.
  • Extensive experience in networking channels is essential.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to facilitate the creation of solutions between sales and vendors, shaping and negotiating large, complex opportunities, are crucial.
