The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of expert clinical leadership, with experience in critical care services. You will be responsible for leading and developing high-quality patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our critically ill patients.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary package of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 27 days annual leave, pension scheme, and access to our Health and Wellbeing programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with the Deputy Matron and Matron for Critical Care Services.
  • Provide clinical expertise to facilitate the safe and efficient intra-transfer of critically unwell patients.
  • Lead and collaborate on various working groups, including those focused on sepsis, deteriorating patient care, acute kidney injury, NIV, and tracheostomy management.
  • Collect, analyse and report audit data to provide information for the evaluation and development of the critical care service.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria:

  • Registered RN Part 1 (adult)
  • Evidence of level 6/7 health-related course
  • Post-Registration ITU course
  • Minimum 6 months band 6 role in critical care
  • 3 years critical care experience

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous H@NT experience
  • CCOT experience
