Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Layout Engineer to join our team at Assystem GmbH, a leading international player in engineering and project management. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project, a flagship initiative in the global energy transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the impact of site requests on HVAC layout and design
  • Produce technical assessments and solutions to ensure seamless integration with the overall plant layout and construction requirements
  • Design and update 3D models for HVAC systems, utilizing industry-leading software
  • Collaborate closely with other disciplines to ensure effective communication and project delivery
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Several years of experience in HVAC systems design, including proficiency in 3D design software
  • Strong understanding of HVAC layout rules and standards
  • Experience in a nuclear site engineering context, familiarity with UK design and regulatory processes for nuclear facilities, and knowledge of nuclear power station operations and safety aspects related to HVAC systems
