Overview

National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is seeking a skilled Risk Practitioner to join our team. This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the implementation of project risk management processes and ensuring the effective management of risks across various programs and projects.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of risk management processes and procedures.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with projects and programs.
  • Providing analytical support to ensure the accurate identification and reporting of risk-related information.
  • Working closely with project teams to ensure that risk management practices are implemented effectively.
  • Contributing to the development of risk management plans and strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Experience working in a matrix-based organization or similar environment.
  • Relevant qualifications in risk management or a related field (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile).
