Excelcare Holdings is a family-owned care home group with over 34 years of experience in providing high-quality care to older adults. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at our Waterhall Care Home in Milton Keynes.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with mealtimes, personal care, and daily living activities
  • Completing accurate and timely documentation, including daily record keeping and care plans
  • Engaging in meaningful activities with residents and promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a care environment, either in a care home or as a home care worker
  • A caring and kind approach, with a willingness to work with older adults
