Teaching Assistant Position for Special Needs

Job Overview:
Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team as a Special Needs Support Professional. The successful candidate will work in an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' SEN School, providing support to Primary aged pupils within their autism base.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of supporting students with challenging behaviour and be able to demonstrate their ability to build professional relationships with students and colleagues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting children with a range of Special Needs
- Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
- Building strong relationships with students and colleagues
Requirements and Remuneration:
- Estimated salary: £65,000 per annum
- 7% statutory holiday pay
- Previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour (an advantage)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
