About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in planning, producing, and delivering high-quality food offers that meet the expectations of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead and develop a team of chefs to ensure excellent food quality and service.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and stock control.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Chef in a similar venue.
  • Excellent cooking skills, with a strong understanding of produce and ingredients.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Food Safety Level 3 and relevant professional qualifications.
