Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our NHS team as a Healthcare Assistant. This role is based in community-based Health Centres, where you will provide exceptional patient care while assisting Sonographers during ultrasound scanning procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Transporting portable ultrasound scanners and equipment from practice to practice as required, with a car being essential for this role.
  2. Providing patient care duties and assisting Sonographers as a Chaperone during clinics, including the use of IT equipment.
  3. Ensuring aftercare for patients following scanning procedures.
  4. Assisting Sonographers with cleaning requirements as needed.
  5. Maintaining clinic rooms in a clean and organized state, restoring them to their original condition at the start of each clinic.
  6. Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety, data protection, and confidentiality.
  7. Managing clinical disposables inventory and replenishing as required, in collaboration with the Clinic Manager.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications/experience:

  • Valid driving license.
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare.
  • Exceptional patient care and communication skills.
  • A friendly, outgoing professional personality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a small, focused team.
  • Eligibility to reside and work in the UK.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • The ability to plan and prioritize tasks.
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is £25,000-£30,000, depending on location and experience.
