Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at ProfDoc in Lancaster. As a key member of our Farm Animal and Equine Team, you will provide high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of animals, including family-run dairy, pedigree beef, sheep, smallholders, and sports and leisure equine.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive veterinary care to farm animals and equine patients
  • Conduct routine health checks, diagnoses, and treatments
  • Perform surgical procedures and emergency care as needed
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Educate and advise clients on animal health, welfare, and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and stay updated with industry advancements

Requirements:

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine, registered with the RCVS
