About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cover Supervisor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for you to work in a 'Good' Secondary school in Gloucestershire.

The school has a large mainstream student body and a supportive teaching staff. Our cover team works closely with teachers to ensure students receive quality education during lesson replacements.

This role plays a vital part in preparing students for future academic success. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and focused learning environment, supporting student behavior, and ensuring minimal disruption during lessons.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through CPD training provided by the school. If you're passionate about education and committed to delivering high-quality support, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Support student behavior and engagement
  • Administer tasks and activities as assigned by teachers
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and staff

What We Offer:

Requirements:

  • GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) in relevant subjects
  • Experience working with students in a educational setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
