About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated pharmacist to join our team at NHS. As an Advanced Pharmacist, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice, with experience in hospital pharmacy settings. You will be responsible for providing expert advice on medication management, developing and implementing clinical guidelines, and leading quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on medication management and develop clinical guidelines
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of pharmacy services
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement training programs for pharmacy staff
Person Specification
  • Master of Pharmacy degree
  • Current listing on the Pharmacist Register with the GPhC
  • Diploma in pharmacy practice or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience of working in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Significant clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience
  • Significant experience of working in hospital pharmacy
  • Knowledge of national guidelines relating to medicines and pharmaceutical practice
  • Specialist knowledge and experience in clinical speciality
  • Independent prescribing
  • Specialist training in Clinical Speciality
