As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our service users. This includes assisting with personal care and support tasks, promoting independence and dignity, and building strong relationships with colleagues and service users.

You will work as part of a team to create a safe and engaging environment, participating in wellbeing events and activities, and responding to call bells and emergencies in a timely manner.

About You:

  • We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to delivering excellent care and support.
  • You should have experience working in care or a related field and possess the necessary skills and qualifications.
  • Knowledge of dementia care and support is desirable but not essential.
  • You should be able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, and be willing to participate in training and development opportunities.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and service users and demonstrate a commitment to providing person-centered care.
  • A DBS check will be required for the successful candidate, payment will be met by the employer.

About Mayflower Court:

Mayflower Court is a 79-bed modern, purpose-built care home, part of the Bowthorpe Care Village, providing short-term and full-time care and support, specialising in dementia.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £12.60 per hour (days) + enhancements, with an average of 33.38 hours per week. Additional benefits include fully funded accredited courses, career progression, job satisfaction from improving people's lives, and access to award-winning training.
