Attega Group Ltd is a dynamic company based in Cambridge, seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent communication skills, and experience with Xero.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

* Managing project profitability analysis
* Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
* Leading a team of 1 Finance Assistant
* Proactive management of cashflows and cash balances
* Oversight and day-to-day management of banking relationships
* Weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll process management
* HR administration, including new joiners, leavers, sickness, holidays, and benefits
* Debtors management, including invoice upload to multiple customer portals

The ideal candidate will have experience of successfully managing people, working in a SME finance management capacity, and financial systems. Microsoft Excel skills are essential, and Xero experience is desirable.

The salary for this role is up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers a range of benefits, including 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension after 3 month probation & sick pay & discretionary bonus scheme discussed during interview & private medical.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring costs are accurately recorded against projects and the profitability of each project is clearly identified and understood by all key stakeholders.
