This Key Stage 1 SEN teaching position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. We are seeking a qualified teacher who can design and deliver engaging, personalized lessons that cater to the needs of students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning challenges.

  • The successful candidate will develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Collaboration with teaching assistants, SEN support staff, and external specialists is essential to provide a holistic approach to learning.
  • The ideal candidate will create an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters emotional and academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is required.
  • Previous experience teaching KS1 and/or SEN students is desirable but not essential.
  • Patience, empathy, and knowledge of SEN-specific teaching techniques and strategies are highly beneficial.
