We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Functional Assessor to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in assessing the cases of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and respectful assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions, gathering a clear understanding of how their challenges and disabilities impact their daily lives.
- Interpret medical evidence and compile comprehensive reports to support the decision-making process by the DWP.
- Work autonomously in an office-style environment and at home, completing approximately 45-minute assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
- Registered Nurses, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and Occupational Therapists are eligible to apply.
- NMC/HCPC registration is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience is required, with UK experience being essential.
- Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and possess I.T. competency.
- A competitive salary of £40,000 per annum.
