You will work closely with community mental health teams, an experienced nurse consultant, specialty doctor, and multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the multi-professional teams to determine need and deliver care across the range of community and care settings served by the mental health teams.
- Work closely with the Community Mental Health Teams to provide a psychiatric service to patients who require psychiatric care from the catchment population.
- Provide medical leadership, consultation, advice, and guidance within the Community Mental Health Teams, ensuring that care and treatment are safe and effective, efficient, and within national guidelines.
- Provide medical assessment, diagnosis, and formulation to appropriate patients.
- Provide medical care to patients with severe mental health problems requiring enhanced care coordination.
