Senior Product Developer, Technical Outerwear Specialist

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Developer to join our Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering the end-to-end product development process for our technical outerwear categories.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Design Team: Work closely with our Senior Designers to understand and interpret their creative aesthetic and design vision, and translate this into actionable plans for our teams and vendors.
- Technical Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, and fabric construction in the world of outerwear, as well as industrialization processes.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, delivering clear briefs and leveraging relationships to meet demands.
- Critical Path Management: Ensure collections are delivered on time, identifying and mitigating risks and challenges.
- Commercial Awareness: Manage within a budget, balancing creativity and commercial implications throughout the product development process.
- Communication and Leadership: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with credibility, share information effectively, and work confidently with cross-functional teams.
- Product Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of fashion and products in the relevant category, including trends, the market, the luxury consumer, and peer awareness.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in PLM, Excel, and InDesign.
- Experience: Proven experience in product development, with a strong background in technical outerwear.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as fashion, textiles, or design.
- Language: Fluent in English, with a preference for Italian speakers.
