Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen assistants to achieve high-quality food production and presentation.
  • Develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Head Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, health and safety regulations, and food hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive kitchen culture.
  • Commercial acumen and experience with inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
