About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Key Stage 2 setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students through targeted interventions and boosters, helping them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Classroom Learning: Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide one-on-one or small group support to students requiring additional help.
  • Boosters and Interventions: Implement targeted interventions and booster sessions to support students in achieving their academic goals.
  • Promote Inclusive Education: Help create an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Monitor and Assess Progress: Observe and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adapting support strategies as needed.
  • Foster a Positive Learning Atmosphere: Encourage and maintain a positive, productive classroom environment that supports student engagement and learning.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting, is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: A relevant qualification or certification in education or child development is beneficial.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.
