About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in September 2024. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for Key Stage 2 students.
  • Provide targeted support and interventions to help students catch up on their learning.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to planning and assessment.
Requirements
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to their education and well-being.
  • Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in booster and intervention settings.
  • A good understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to support students in their learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
