Job Title: Commercial Lawyer - Energy Infrastructure Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our team as an in-house Commercial Lawyer for Energy Infrastructure Solutions. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide specialist in-house legal advice within the Energy Infrastructure Services area of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice on all aspects of development, sales, construction, and operation of new and existing energy infrastructure projects.
  • Work with commercial leads to develop innovative decarbonisation strategies and advise on changes required to template and existing contracts.
  • Draft and negotiate a full spectrum of commercial contracts, including heat network contracts.
  • Support energy solutions business by providing day-to-day assistance on all aspects of development, sale, procurement, construction, and operation of energy solutions projects.
Requirements:
  • UK qualified solicitor or barrister with experience advising on complex commercial agreements.
  • Business acumen with a practical, commercial approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with flexibility to work to tight timescales in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
