Job Title: Teacher of Spanish

Job Description:

GSL Education - Hull is seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Spanish to join our team. As a Teacher of Spanish, you will play a key role in inspiring students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level.
* Focus on developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish Language.
* Adapt teaching and learning methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in the target language.
* Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language teaching.
* Prepare students for GCSE exams, through effective teaching and tailored revision sessions.

Requirements:

* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
* Proven experience teaching Spanish in a secondary school setting in the last 2 years, with references available upon request.
* Be able to deliver Spanish to secondary level; having French as a second language is desirable but not essential.
* Experience working with children who have additional needs.
* Have a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
