About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Hepatitis and Liver Team at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with liver disease and hepatitis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Hepatitis and Liver Teams to identify and support patients through their treatment pathways.
  • Develop and implement training programs to become competent in the management of patients with viral hepatitis and other liver-related diseases.
  • Support the development of protocols and clinical audit to improve patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration and a first degree in nursing or an equivalent portfolio of evidence.
  • Relevant experience within the specialty at a senior level.
  • Post-registration knowledge and experience in teaching and mentoring learners.
  • Ability to demonstrate assertiveness, tact, and diplomacy appropriately.
