About the Role

Barker Associates is a leading property consultancy seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering innovative structural engineering solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with project engineers to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Supervise and assist CAD technicians in preparing technical design information
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other professionals to develop construction plans
  • Develop design ideas using AutoCAD/Civil3D/InfoDrainage
  • Conduct site inspections and attend project meetings
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years' post-graduation experience in residential, commercial, and educational developments
  • Experience in reinforced concrete structures and drainage design is desirable
  • Hold an accredited MEng or BEng degree in civil or structural engineering
  • Be looking to become or be in the process of becoming Chartered
  • Associate-Members of the Institution of Civil Engineers are also considered
