Project Role Overview
This is a key role within our project portfolio, spread across our UK network at all UK sites and stations. As an HSE Specialist, you will work closely with experienced professionals and client teams to ensure effective project delivery.

Responsibilities
The HSE Engineer will be responsible for providing positive leadership on HSE matters, promoting best practice and an enthusiastic HSE culture. They will monitor and report on the effectiveness of the HSE Management system, making recommendations for improvement as necessary. This role requires strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks.

Requirements
To excel in this position, you should have experience working as a HSE Professional in a project context, with knowledge of current HSE legislation associated with project work. A HNC in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent is essential, along with current qualification/knowledge of the CDM Regulations. A minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, Construction Certificate, or NVQ Level 3 is required, and membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is desirable.
