Quantity Surveyor Role

PSR Solutions is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Cambridgeshire and involve working on Residential groundworks projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform closeout processes to ensure contract terms are met and payments are verified.
  • Work with the project team to evaluate the impact of budget changes.
  • Undertake commercial accountabilities in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and review tenders with estimators and assist with understanding client requirements.
  • Review and validate weekly cost monitors and forecast monthly and annual profit figures.
  • Allocate work to sub-contractors and assist with procurement when required.
  • Undertake site visits to administer the contract in line with project progress.
Requirements
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or a similar commercial-related course.
  • Highly computer literate with Microsoft Office skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Residential Groundworks background is ideal.
  • Professional membership of an appropriate body.
  • Good data interrogation skills.
  • Bid knowledge.
  • Excellent legal and contractual knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Valid driving license.
