Job Overview:
Apple Technical Recruitment (UK) Limited is partnering with a successful Main Contractor to grow their Commercial team with a talented Quantity Surveyor/Estimator.
The company has a strong track record of delivering projects across multiple sectors, including Commercial, Residential, Education, Leisure, and Heritage.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for quantity surveying functions on projects, including procurement, measurement, and valuations, as well as estimating duties and working with the pre-construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quantity surveying on projects from procurement to processing monthly applications for payment
- Estimating duties and working with the pre-construction team
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years+ experience as a QS or Estimator
- Good communication skills
- Experience working on projects c£1m+ in value advantageous
- Candidates from both Main Contractor and Sub-contractor backgrounds considered
Qualifications & Skills:
Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or HNC/HND or a comparable qualification required.
