Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bank General Staff Nurse to join our team. As a Bank Staff Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical areas, including general and acute hospital settings. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
As a Bank General Staff Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality patient care, adhering to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and other relevant guidelines.
- Assessing patient care needs, developing care plans, and implementing and evaluating these to promote best practice.
- Liaising with medical staff, allied departments, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Observing confidentiality of patient information at all times and complying with the Data Protection Act.
- Supporting and assisting the Ward Manager in establishing a good working environment and making the most effective and efficient use of staff, supplies, and services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NMC registration as a General Nurse.
- Post-6 months qualification experience within a general/acute NHS Hospital setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliability, confidence, and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
