Position Overview:
We are looking for a proficient Behavioral Support Consultant to become a part of the pastoral team within this remarkable institution.

Your role will be vital in formulating and executing Positive Behavior Support Plans, performing Functional Behavior Assessments, and offering strategic contributions to institution-wide behavior policies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement tailored Behavior Support Plans.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments.
  • Collaborate with classroom teams and Behavior and Pastoral Support Officers.
  • Monitor and analyze overall behavior using CPOMS.
  • Develop and deliver behavior intervention programs.
  • Lead training sessions for staff on Maybo techniques.
  • Assist in the transition of new students with behavioral requirements.
  • Participate in Education Health and Care Plan Annual Reviews and Child in Need Meetings.

Skills & Experience:
  • Expertise in Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Support Plans.
  • Strong understanding of function-based intervention planning.
  • Experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) education or residential settings.
  • Ability to effectively present data and train staff.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
